You might see him twisting Backwoods in a Beemer pushing redlines between Boston and Sin City. The next day you can catch him cracking 48-bar freestyles over cordless microphones en route to smash your baby mother. He’s 360; no matter which way you look – north, south, east or west – he’s in your rear view mirror. “You better take that sh** on the chin,” he says.
According to Six, he had an average childhood – emphasis on the “hood.” His pops known for his street life, “was the real deal” fathering eleven children. He’s not proud that he left high school, but he’ll be damned if he didn’t find success in hip-hop and business ventures alike. Six has stacked chips and flipped scripts since his teenage years in Lynn – “City of Sin” where cats are privy to the best – and worst – of things.
The push began nearly fifteen years ago, when Big C.E.O. Red headed to Northeastern Massachusetts in hopes of building a better relationship with his father. In addition to his dad, the future Team 220 label head was looking for artists to collaborate with. And since life brings no coincidences – just destinies – the MC who everyone was clamoring about happened to be from the same bloodline.
In the time since, Team 220 has evolved into one of Boston’s top independent labels, having put at least 50,000 mixtapes and CDs on the street. And 360 – the imprint’s debut artist – has grown along, trading verses with comrades Jimmy Cash and Frankie Wainwright, and performing with the diverse likes of Trina, Drag-On, Lost Boys and Gillie da Kidd, Jamn’ 94.5’s annual Summer Jam concert from Greek Week in Atlanta to City Hall Plaza back in Boston.
So that’s the story – all 360 degrees of it. Dude grows up hard. Dude becomes a man. Dude gets grimy beats and spits his jaw off. According to Six, it’s all about balancing style and reality the same way you balance weed, wine and women. And, of course, being the “most humble cocky ni**a that you’ve ever met in your God da*n life.”

She gives herself to him, with complete abandon. He throbs for her touch. They connect, and he spills himself onto her. She feels strange, this was new to her.
He was unrelenting. She begged for more. Described here is the consummate relationship of two that were literally made for each other, undeniable soul mates with unwavering devotion. This is the relationship of a pen and his paper. Klassik V’rse was made for music, just as paper was made to be written upon. Her song, “Witness to a Love Letter” (which will be featured on an upcoming mix cd “The Wait is Over”), brings honor to such a partnership; because together, pen and paper give a home to the creative artwork that flows through the hand of a writer. “Together they were a masterpiece, one of a kind”. Such is the relationship of Klassik V’rse and her music. They love, they fight, but in the end, they cannot be without each other. This is her life.
“I was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and moved to Lawrence, MA when I was five and lived there until I was eighteen. I went back to New York when I was eighteen, and then came back to Massachusetts in 2006.” Said Klassik, “I am always reppin’ Mass, but I’m a city girl at heart.” Klassik V’rse grew up surrounded by musicians. “My uncles were DJ’s and rappers, and both of my parents sang.” She said. “From an early age my uncles would write me some lyrics and I would perform them… by age three I was beat-boxing.” The world of music became second nature to the pint-sized rapper, and she later began to enter dance contests and talent shows, winning many.
As she drifted into early adolescence, Klassik took an interest in writing. “My mom was strict, she hardly ever let us go out, so I read a lot, wrote a lot and rapped all the time… by fourteen I was battling in the cafeteria against the boys at school.” Having not many female friends in school, Klassik admitted to being a bit of a tomboy, “I was into sports, handball and basketball were my favorites… but I was not a total tomboy, I still dressed up!” she added with a smirk. “I want to remind people that there are still strong, intelligent and creative Latina women in this world who are able to captivate the minds of others by something other than our beautiful curves.”
Later, Klassik would bring herself to open mic nights and clubs, where she fearlessly performed against guys who had no idea what was in for them, as she later became known as the girl who would “flow harder than many guys.” Klassik’s pallet for the arts developed into a taste for all types of music, and she continues to draw inspiration from nearly every genre.
“Everything in this world has been done before, the challenge is to make it sound new.” She said. Even more, Klassik is sure to take a notice of anything with a genuine message. “I’m big into lyrics, which is why I even love Country music… the lyrics are so real to me.”
Not one to be a cheaper version of anyone else, Klassik V’rse is inventive, modern and edgy- The first of her kind to break into the music world. With her taste for all things unique, and an insatiable appetite for learning new things, Klassik V’rse is able to appeal seamlessly to an enormous range of audiences. Her lyrics appeal to all lovers of the written word, and her love and devotion to music is best summed up as written in her own moving “Witness to a Love Letter” lyrics, “Why profess their love when its written in their eyes.. the message is clear, its says I need you to survive.”
